Shiba Inu in Stagnation: A Market Without Direction

Shiba Inu in Stagnation

The Shiba Inu (SHIB) market has come to a near standstill. After a sharp decline, the price stabilized but remains stuck in place — investors show little activity, and the token trades within a very narrow range. Currently, SHIB hovers around $0.00001014, just above local support at $0.0000095.

This support zone has repeatedly halted declines, suggesting a potential formation of a local bottom. However, despite this, both trading volume and volatility remain extremely low. The RSI indicator stays between 37–40, reflecting a lack of strong momentum from either buyers or sellers. Although this kind of technical setup could normally signal a rebound, the current lack of market movement limits the chances of an upward breakout.

On-chain data confirm the stagnation. According to CryptoQuant, exchange inflows and outflows have barely changed over the past 24 hours. Exchange reserves increased by just 0.13%, indicating that most coins remain idle.

Similarly, the Netflow indicator (-0.34%) remains in neutral territory, showing no significant buying or selling pressure. There is also a noticeable absence of whale activity — large investors who typically drive market direction. For now, most participants are waiting for a clear technical signal or a macroeconomic catalyst to break the deadlock.

Even though SHIB appears to be near its local bottom, the token has yet to attract meaningful interest from institutions or short-term traders. Unless trading volume and capital inflows pick up, Shiba Inu may continue to move sideways for an extended period. The direction of the next major move — whether up or down — will depend on a sudden increase in volatility, which for now remains missing.
