Saylor Hints at Another Bitcoin Purchase
Michael Saylor signals another BTC acquisition as investors interpret his comments as bullish.
Michael Saylor has hinted that Strategy may increase its Bitcoin holdings once again this week. On Sunday, June 14, the company's Executive Chairman shared the well-known “Orange Dots” chart on X, accompanied by a brief comment: “Still adding dots.”
Within the cryptocurrency community, posts like this have long been viewed as a signal that another Bitcoin purchase is on the way. The chart tracks Strategy’s Bitcoin acquisition history, with each transaction represented by an orange dot. Similar posts have frequently appeared shortly before the company officially announced new BTC purchases.
Saylor also responded to a user who asked whether continuing to buy Bitcoin was “delusion or conviction.” His answer was short and direct: “Conviction.” Market participants interpreted the remark as further confirmation that another acquisition could be announced in the coming days.
Just a week ago, Strategy revealed that it had purchased $101 million worth of Bitcoin. The company’s average purchase price was $65,332 per BTC. Notably, Saylor shared the same “Orange Dots” chart shortly before that transaction was announced as well.
However, some critics continue to raise concerns about the risks associated with Strategy’s aggressive Bitcoin accumulation strategy. They argue that a prolonged decline in Bitcoin’s price could put pressure on the company’s financial position and make it more difficult to meet future obligations.
For now, these concerns remain largely speculative, while Strategy’s management maintains that selling its Bitcoin holdings remains a highly unlikely scenario. Whether those concerns prove justified will depend on the company’s long-term performance and the future price trajectory of the world’s largest cryptocurrency.
