XRP Price Nears a Critical Turning Point

XRP remains in a downtrend. A break above $1.0930 could reverse it, while losing $1.06 may deepen losses.

XRP Price Nears a Critical Turning Point

XRP is currently trading within a descending channel, with its price hovering around $1.075. A pattern of increasingly lower highs indicates that selling pressure remains strong. At the same time, the price is approaching the point where the descending trendline meets a short-term ascending trendline, potentially setting the stage for a more decisive move.

The nearest significant resistance lies around $1.09. This area has previously halted recovery attempts and coincides with the upper boundary of the descending channel. Only a decisive breakout above this zone could improve XRP’s short-term outlook. Another rejection, however, would increase the risk of a decline toward lower support levels.

The liquidation map suggests that the largest wave of long-position liquidations could occur if XRP falls toward $1.05, followed by the $1.04 area. Short-position liquidations may begin to appear if the price rises into the $1.08–$1.09 range. The largest clusters of short liquidations are located near $1.10 and within the $1.12–$1.13 zone.

Market activity across the largest exchanges is almost evenly balanced, although sellers hold a slight advantage, accounting for 50.66% of trading volume. The strongest selling pressure can be seen on Bitunix, Hyperliquid and Bybit. Sellers also have the upper hand on Bitget, MEXC and BingX. Buyers dominate primarily on KuCoin, while holding a smaller advantage on OKX, Binance and Gate.

Trading Scenarios

Bullish scenario: XRP needs to break above the upper boundary of the descending channel near $1.0930. A sustained breakout and the ability to remain above this level could signal a potential shift in the short-term trend and pave the way for a broader recovery.

Consolidation scenario: If XRP holds the support level at $1.06 but fails to break through resistance at $1.0930, the price may continue moving sideways between these levels. A breakout on either side of this consolidation range could determine the direction of the next significant move.

Bearish scenario: A drop below the $1.06 support level would increase the risk of further declines. In this case, XRP could move toward the next support zone between $1.03 and $1.01, located near the lower boundary of the descending channel.
