Ripple Supports U.S. Veterans
Ripple will match XRP donations supporting a program that helps U.S. veterans find civilian jobs.
Ripple joined the America250 Giving 4th campaign on July 4, pledging to match all XRP donations made to the Call of Duty Endowment.
Giving 4th is a new charitable initiative encouraging Americans to make Independence Day a day of giving as well. The campaign is part of the celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Declaration of Independence, which will be commemorated on July 4, 2026.
The donated funds will support the CODE4Vets program run by the Call of Duty Endowment. The initiative provides funding to organizations that help military veterans transition into civilian careers by connecting them with employment opportunities and preparing them for the job market. Contributions can be made in cash, stocks, or cryptocurrencies.
According to the Call of Duty Endowment, its programs have already helped more than 165,000 veterans secure employment after leaving military service. The organization aims to increase that number to 200,000 by 2030, noting that unemployment among younger veterans remains a significant challenge.
