Ripple Partners with i-payout to Accelerate Cross-Border Payments
Ripple and i-payout partner to reduce payment times to the US and Canada from days to seconds.
i-payout has announced a new partnership with Ripple aimed at improving cross-border payouts to the United States and Canada. The information was shared on X, where Ripple highlighted that the new solution reduces payment processing time from several days to just a few seconds.
The i-payout platform is a global payment system designed with an API-first approach. It enables companies to quickly distribute funds to employees, sellers, and partners around the world without complex operational processes.
Until now, international transfers to North America could take several days to settle. In practice, this often meant that a portion of company capital remained temporarily locked, causing delays in delivering payments to users of digital platforms.
The integration with Ripple Payments offers a solution to this issue. Ripple’s technology uses digital asset infrastructure to speed up settlement times and improve payment transparency. As a result, i-payout can process large volumes of cross-border payouts much faster than before.
The system supports multiple types of transactions, including payments to online merchants, payouts for freelancers, and fund transfers related to corporate financial management. The solution can be used by banks, payment providers, and globally operating digital platforms.
i-payout CEO Eddie Gonzalez emphasized the importance of the growing digital economy. As he noted:
