Bitcoin ETFs Extend Losing Streak

Bitcoin ETF outflows continue, while XRP and Solana funds attract fresh investor demand.

Bitcoin ETFs Extend Losing Streak

Bitcoin ETFs posted $527 million in net outflows last week, marking the eighth consecutive week of investor withdrawals. The biggest decline came from BlackRock's IBIT, which lost $772.6 million, outweighing inflows into other major funds, including Fidelity's FBTC and ARK & 21Shares' ARKB.

The week started weak, with heavy outflows from Monday through Wednesday. Sentiment improved on Thursday, when Bitcoin ETFs attracted $221.72 million in net inflows, ending a ten-day streak of daily withdrawals and delivering the strongest session since May 5.

Ethereum ETFs also finished the week in negative territory, recording $13.67 million in net outflows. However, stronger demand for BlackRock's ETHA helped limit overall losses.

Altcoin ETFs continued to outperform. XRP ETFs attracted $17.19 million, Solana ETFs gained $5.75 million, and HYPE ETFs added $4.32 million.

Persistent geopolitical uncertainty and weaker-than-expected U.S. economic data continue to weigh on investor sentiment. While demand for Bitcoin ETFs remains under pressure, capital is increasingly flowing into Ethereum and selected altcoin investment products.
