South Korea Drives Trading Activity in These Altcoins

South Korea's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, recorded a notable increase in trading activity across several altcoins over the past 24 hours. According to the latest market data, Threshold Network (T), XRP, and Worldcoin (WLD) attracted the highest trading volumes among investors.

Threshold Network (T) topped the list with the highest combined trading volume. Upbit recorded $68.27 million in trades, while Bithumb contributed another $8.49 million, bringing the total to approximately $76.75 million.

XRP ranked second with a combined trading volume of $41.23 million. Worldcoin (WLD) followed in third place, generating a total trading volume of $34.86 million.

The full ranking is as follows:

  • Threshold Network (T) – $76.75 million
  • XRP – $41.23 million
  • Worldcoin (WLD) – $34.86 million
  • Blast (BLAST) – $26.23 million
  • Adventure Gold (AGLD) – $18.97 million
  • Solana (SOL) – $14.94 million
  • Solstice (SLX) – $12.45 million
  • Space and Time (SXT) – $11.74 million
  • Elsa (ELSA) – $11.65 million
  • B3 – $11.37 million
  • Ardor (ARDR) – $10.44 million
  • Xion (XION) – $8.44 million
  • Stellar (XLM) – $8.13 million
  • Dogecoin (DOGE) – $7.51 million
  • ETHGas (GWEI) – $6.52 million
  • Humanity (H) – $5.62 million
  • edgeX (EDGE) – $5.19 million
  • DeXe (DEXE) – $4.76 million
  • Highstreet (HIGH) – $4.28 million

However, high trading volume does not necessarily indicate that investors are only buying these cryptocurrencies. Elevated activity can result from both buying and selling, as well as short-term speculative trading. Many traders also take advantage of increased volatility to open short positions. As a result, strong trading volume should primarily be viewed as a sign of heightened market interest rather than a clear indication of bullish sentiment.
