Binance’s XRP Reserves Are Shrinking Fast
XRP reserves on Binance are dropping rapidly, reshaping market dynamics
XRP reserves on Binance have been falling sharply. According to data from CryptoQuant, the number of tokens held on the exchange has dropped from around 3 billion in mid-October to about 2.71 billion. This decline comes at a time when the cryptocurrency’s price is trying to stabilize after a prolonged period of weakness.
When Binance still held roughly 3 billion XRP, the token was trading near 3.025. Now its position looks less certain.
The drop in reserves may signal that investors are moving their funds into personal wallets or accumulating XRP with a longer-term perspective. Since the beginning of November, XRP’s price has been sliding, and exchange balances have been decreasing alongside it. This trend is often viewed as positive, as lower supply on exchanges can reduce selling pressure in the future. For now, however, traders are watching to see if XRP can break through the key resistance zone between 2.40 and 2.50, which has repeatedly halted upward moves.
If Binance’s reserves continue to decline, it could attract larger investors searching for favorable entry points. For the moment, though, the entire altcoin market remains weak, and uncertainty is growing ahead of the Federal Reserve’s upcoming December meeting.
