Advancements in artificial intelligence are having an increasingly visible impact on the job market. Data collected by The Alliance for Secure AI shows that since the beginning of 2025, AI-related layoffs have exceeded 90,450. The figures include cases where technology was directly cited as the reason for job cuts or identified as a significant contributing factor.

The analysis covers announcements from companies such as Amazon, Atlassian, and Morgan Stanley. More and more businesses are replacing employees with AI systems and agents capable of taking over parts of their responsibilities.

According to Brendan Steinhauser, president of The Alliance for Secure AI, this trend should serve as a warning sign. He argues that policymakers are not treating the issue with sufficient urgency, even as both manual and office-based jobs are gradually being replaced by new technologies. In his view, there is currently a lack of solutions that could ensure financial stability for workers in the age of advanced AI.

Forecasts suggest that this is only the beginning of a much larger shift. Dario Amodei warns that within the next five years, artificial intelligence could eliminate up to half of entry-level white-collar jobs.

Similar conclusions come from a study conducted by MIT. According to the report, more than 11% of the U.S. job market could be replaced by AI, potentially resulting in the loss of over one trillion dollars in wages across sectors such as finance, healthcare, and professional services.

These developments highlight that the rise of artificial intelligence is no longer just a technological issue—it is becoming a significant social and economic challenge.

The problem is no longer limited to office workers. Increasingly, physical labor is also being affected. AI is making its way into the transportation industry, where automation is taking over tasks previously performed by humans. At the same time, a growing number of companies are developing humanoid robots designed to assist with everyday activities and operational work. This demonstrates that the impact of AI is expanding across a wide range of professions, regardless of their nature.
