Ripple Strengthens Partnership with Broker TJM

Ripple Targets the Institutional Market

Ripple has taken another step toward the institutional market. The company has acquired a minority stake in U.S.-based broker TJM Investments, further strengthening the long-term partnership between the two firms.

Through this investment, Ripple is gaining deeper access to the technical infrastructure used by financial institutions for trading and settlement. TJM Investments is a regulated broker-dealer operating in the United States. Neither the size of the stake nor the value of the investment has been disclosed.

As part of the agreement, Ripple will support TJM’s trading and settlement operations. The collaboration is closely tied to the Ripple Prime platform, which provides trading, financing, and collateral management tools for hedge funds, asset managers, and family offices. TJM plans to leverage this infrastructure to offer digital asset trading to its clients in the coming months.

Ripple does not intend to launch its own exchange or promote new tokens. Instead, the company is positioning itself as an infrastructure and services provider for firms operating within the established framework of traditional financial markets.

This approach is gaining relevance as institutions have become more cautious about cryptocurrencies. Market volatility, regulatory uncertainty, and past exchange failures have led to a stronger focus on working with regulated intermediaries and on predictable settlement processes.

The development of Ripple Prime over the past year shows that the company is committed to a long-term presence in the institutional segment. The acquisition of a stake in TJM Investments reinforces this strategy and highlights Ripple’s focus on stable growth rather than short-term speculation.
