Bitget Launches Stocks 2.0
Bitget unveils Stocks 2.0, enabling trading of tokenized stocks and ETFs using USDT.
Bitget has launched Stocks 2.0, the latest version of its tokenized stock trading platform. The new offering is designed to bridge the gap between the cryptocurrency market and traditional finance, giving users access to U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) without the need for a conventional brokerage account.
The platform is built around digital tokens linked to real-world stocks. According to Bitget, selected assets provide a 1:1 economic exposure to their underlying securities, meaning the value of each token is intended to closely track the performance of the corresponding stock. The system also accounts for corporate actions such as stock splits and dividend distributions, with cash dividends paid directly to users in USDT.
Stocks 2.0 is also expected to improve liquidity through its connection to the U.S. equities market. Bitget says this integration will support faster order execution and deeper market depth, creating a smoother trading experience for users. All transactions are conducted directly within the Bitget app using the USDT stablecoin.
At launch, the platform offers 36 tokenized assets based on leading U.S. stocks and ETFs. Available instruments include shares of Apple, Amazon, Meta, Tesla, Alphabet, NVIDIA, and Microsoft, as well as the popular QQQ ETF. Product availability may vary depending on local regulations and the user’s jurisdiction.
Bitget has been expanding its tokenized asset ecosystem for several years. The company reports that by January 2026, cumulative trading volume for tokenized stocks on the platform had surpassed $1 billion, while stock-related derivatives trading volume exceeded $10 billion.
The launch of Stocks 2.0 marks another step toward Bitget’s vision of creating a unified trading environment where users can seamlessly access both cryptocurrencies and traditional financial assets from a single platform.
